The Team

“We are focused on offering a personalized, professional and trustworthy service based on a high level of interaction with our clients. Building close relationships is an integral part of helping our clients grow and manage their wealth through all stages of life.” – David Osborne, President, and Founder of Osborne Advisors

David Osborne is the president and founder of Osborne Advisors.  He is a seasoned independent financial advisor and an OSJ (Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction) supervisor, managing multiple financial advisors.  Prior to founding Osborne Advisors in 1999, Osborne was a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley in New York and Dallas focusing on financial, retirement and college planning as well as strategic equity and income investing.  During that time he developed deep client relationships and a passion for helping clients think long-term about their investing and risk management strategy. The desire to focus on the best results and best portfolio for each client led Osborne to become an independent financial advisor. Osborne is registered as a General Securities Representative, a General Securities Principal, an OSJ, an Equity Trader with FINRA, and he is registered as an Agent in over 20 states.  Additionally, he holds Series 7, 24, 31, 55, 63, 65, Group 1 life and health licenses. Osborne attended Texas State University on a golf scholarship, was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and graduated in 1994 with a BBA in Finance. When he isn't in the office, you can find him enjoying time with his family, on the golf course, playing hockey, or taking in some live music.

Dana Riley has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry and has been with Osborne Advisors since 2009. She assists with the OSJ for the Dallas office and also maintains compliance record-keeping and monthly reporting for Osborne Advisors. Dana is responsible for providing Osborne Advisors' clients with timely and attentive service and coordinates the clerical and administrative issues that clients have, allowing David to focus on the investment needs of each client. Dana has extensive financial knowledge that she utilizes in assisting OA clients and is usually the first point of contact for any client contacting the office.

Reed Clemons is the newest advisor to join the team at OA.  Reed began as an intern at Osborne Advisors in 2014 where he passed the Series 7 and Series 66 exams to become a registered representative and investment adviser representative.  Reed is a current graduate from the University of Texas and gained a bachelor's degree in General Finance from the McCombs School of Business. At McCombs, Reed gained insight on different financial analysis methods and the ways they can help institutional and individual investors, which sparked his desire to become an advisor. Reed was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and participated in numerous philanthropy activities such as Feed My People at the First United Methodist Church and Fight Night, an amateur boxing event which benefits the Huntsman Cancer Institute.  Reed was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas where he served as a captain for both the baseball and football team at his local high school, W.B. Ray High School.  Reed's favorite activities outside of working at OA include deep sea fishing, sporting events at the University of Texas, golfing with friends, and enjoying Austin's great variety of live music and locally owned restaurants.
